TCX Boots have launched their new line up of boots for 2016, the TCX Comp Evo Michelin.
The guys at TCX have been working overtime to improve the TCX 2.1 and have comeback stronger with the Comp Evo.
Straight up the most noticeable thing about the boot is the new sole and that Michelin stamp on the heel. In a joint effort with Michelin, they’ve developed a stitch less outer rubber sole. Fitted with a “Michelin MX Hybrid Sole” the boot offers increased levels of grip while making the overall weight of the boot lighter with more feeling.
The new design also decreased the width of the boot making it less bulky. There’s also a noticeable reduction in height at the toe of the boot which TCX claim will aid riders to make more precise gear shits due to improved room between the toe and gear selector.
Four aluminium buckles keep the boot securely fastened. An ergonomic design makes for easier opening with gloves on.
A TCX double flex control system offers up to 18 degree forward and up to 15 degree rear movement in the ankle area to prevent over extension of the foot.
A rubber heat guard offers superior grip on the bike’s frame.
The Comp Evo Michelin doesn’t feature an inner bootie and is available in seven different colours that includes scuba blue and lime.
The Comp Evo is also available in the traditional sole.
